Dr. Nerissa Green completed her undergraduate Dental training at Sydney University in 2000. In 2006, Dr. Green returned to Sydney University as one of 4 candidates selected for the Specialist Doctorate degree in Orthodontics- a 3-year program dedicated solely to the diagnosis and treatment of misaligned teeth and jaws.
After completing her specialist training, Dr. Green returned to Newcastle in 2010 and proudly opened her own practice, Charlestown Orthodontics, in 2015.
Dr. Nerissa Green’s career choice was greatly influenced by her own Orthodontic experience as a child. Watching her crooked teeth become straight and experiencing first-hand the boost in confidence and self-esteem, Dr. Green was inspired to become an Orthodontist so she could share this joy with others.
With a caring nature and attention to detail, Dr. Nerissa Green is passionate about creating beautiful smiles. Now, with more than fifteen years of experience, Dr. Green loves running into past patients and seeing the smiles they give her around town.
Dr. Green regularly attends professional development conferences and is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Australian Dental Association, and the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons.
When not at the practice, Dr. Nerissa Green enjoys spending time with her family and lovable cavoodle, Muffin.
